Rehoboth Leadership
Pastor
Curtis Ferguson - [email protected]
My wife (Senora) and I came to Rehoboth in 1997 with a six year old son and five month old twin daughters, having spent twelve years in western New York. We really did not know what to expect, but we have seen God do incredible things in and through this church. On behalf of our church we invite you to join us as we seek to become more like Christ and demonstrate His love to our community and the world.

Associate Pastor of Family Ministries
Ben Austic - [email protected]
I serve as the Associate Pastor of Family Ministries with my wife Jessica, our daughter Anushri and sons Seth and Ethan. Farming was my passion for the first 36 years of my life, but in 2013 some amazing things happened that convinced me that God wanted me in ministry. In May 2016, I graduated from Midwestern Baptist College summa cum laude with an Associate's degree in Worship Ministries. Now my passions are discipling families, building community in the church and worship through music (Hebrews 10:23-25).

Connections Director
Alicia Mullinix - [email protected]
My mission as Connection Director is to motivate one another to acts of love and good works to promote connection and discipleship through service, encouragement, and fellowship. To connect guests into the life of the church, and members into deeper expression of faith through service. I will strive to know our church family, connect them in meaningful relationships, and guide them to use their gifts in service for God. I look forward to getting to know, connect, and help everyone find their place in our church family.
“and let’s consider how to encourage one another in love and good deeds,” Hebrews 10:24

College Ministry Intern
Sophie Davis - [email protected]
I am the College Ministry Intern here at Rehoboth Baptist Church. I am a nursing student at Truman State University. I am so thankful for the opportunity to reach college students here in the community of Kirksville. My goal for this ministry is to make meaningful, intentional connections with other students and college-aged individuals and to lead them to the love of Christ. I aim to create a welcoming, comfortable environment that makes others feel at home through Christ-centered teachings, fellowship, and events. "Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God." Romans 15:7 Kendall Hutchison - [email protected]
I am one of the college ministry interns here at Rehoboth Baptist Church. I am an exercise science major at Truman, planning to get a masters in education to eventually teach and coach at the high school level. Here at Rehoboth I will strive to teach and challenge the college aged members to be a light in this dark world. I will also do my best to be a living example of the gospel and a vessel for the Lord. I want everyone to be welcomed with open arms here at Rehoboth. |
Youth Ministry Leaders
Andy and Emily Kottwitz - [email protected]
We have attended Rehoboth since 2009 and have two daughters who are entering their teenage years! We both have teaching degrees and have experience in the classroom. We enjoy working with the youth and hope to instill our mission verse into all activities and lessons. Matthew 5:16 - “In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.” |
Children's Ministry Director
Lacey Athon - [email protected]
My family has attended Rehoboth since 2016. In that time, I have taught within the Children’s Ministry and served as the Assistant Children’s Director. In 2022, I stepped up to the Children's Ministry Director Position. I received my Associate of Arts in Teaching and I have been a daycare provider for 12 years. My husband, our children, and I have been so blessed by our Rehoboth family and I look forward to helping children grow to know Christ and His love in a real and personal way.
“Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from Him.” -Psalm 127:3
